Day 43 of 365 Days of Health and Wellness

Day 43 of 365-DHW, 17 years after 9/11, is all about remembering and doing. The good and the bad got you to where you are today. If you love yourself (a great goal to work on if you don’t love yourself as much as you deserve), then you should respect those things in your past that helped mold you into the person you are today. At the same time, don’t let your past be the driving force in your life, because you cannot change the past. You can learn from it, but you cannot change it. So remember, but don’t give it all the power. Give power to your future self, because you CAN change the future. In the words of Tom Burnett from Flight 93, “Don’t worry. We’re going to do something.” So DO something!

HAIR: 6 months post-chemo! Short, dark, and getting wild!

Nutrition: Good choices from 5pm-bedtime (my new goal for the next two weeks)
Exercise: Cardio
Mental: Positive self-talk

Nutrition: Success!!!
Exercise: 2.5 mile stroller walk in the morning plus a long day of stuff has me at 11,000 steps!
Mental: Turns out I need to work on this. A lot of little negative thoughts floated through my head today, but I think they add up. So PST is my goal for this week!
