Day 37 of 365-DHW is a selfie of me and my very favorite little guy in urgent care minutes after they reset his dislocated elbow. 🤦🏼♀️ FYI, this was during the allotted workout time for the day, but that is the life of a mom. Also, it’s a good time to remind you about the 80/20 rule. When trying to get in shape or stay fit, success is mostly about what you put in your body and then just as important but less of an overall impact is what you DO with your body. So in theory, it’s 80% nutrition, 20% exercise. Therefore, I made an even better effort to eat well for the rest of the day to balance out my missed workout. But don’t worry, I’ll be back at it tomorrow.
HAIR: 6 months post-chemo! Short, dark, but getting some body to it.
Nutrition: Nutrient dense food choices.
Exercise: Strength day.
Mental: Make time for me time.
Nutrition: Ate pretty well, though now that I look back, I think I forgot to eat fruit…
Exercise: Did not workout.
Mental: This one got away from me a little bit. My kiddos took priority and I wouldn’t have it any other way, but I’ll try again tomorrow.
