Today I got my hair done. Before and after comparison pictures are on Instagram (spoiler alert: it’s hard to tell anything happened). I finally am far enough out from chemo that I can add very subtle highlights for the first time in 15 months. And I got a trim too. Turns out it’s tough to see much of a difference when your hair is so short. My stylist says my hair (the part we haven’t cut) is 2″ long.
HAIR: 5 months post-chemo, short and dark with subtle highlights
Nutrition: Eat food. No seriously, today is hectic, I have to remember to eat.
Exercise: Go to gym and do cardio and an upper body workout.
Mental: Stay mentally strong.
Nutrition: I ate food. Don’t remember what.
Exercise: 45 minutes on the elliptical and a very fast upper body workout. I did a superset workout which is the best for limited time.
Mental: Kind of failed. Someone said something to me that she didn’t realize would make me feel bad/freaked out (cancer-related) and it took me about seven hours to get over. Working out helped a little, but still took a really long time.
Tomorrow is a new day!
